Sometimes the most meaningful and interesting things to paint are just outside your window or front door. The Bethesda part of Bethesda & Beyond is a testament to that. 

Although I was born in Cuba of Czech parents and have lived in diverse places such as Queens, the Bahamas, the mid-West, and Colorado, the place where I have lived by far the longest is Bethesda.  Even if at first glance a potential painting subject may not appear to be remarkable, the joy of painting is trying to make it so.  Bethesda is a great place to try that out.
